Chichester Holidays Terms and Conditions - Overview
Deposit: 50% non refundable/non transferable
Balance: required 6 weeks prior to arrival
A Booking is not firm until we receive a completed signed copy of the Holiday Booking Agreement and we confirm acceptance of the booking. If this is not received within 72 hours from the date the booking was made, the reservation will automatically lapse and may be re-opened for sale. We advise you to contact us to ensure we have received the Agreement within this time frame. This then forms a binding contract between the owner and the lead guest signing the rental contract on behalf of the whole party. A copy of our full Terms and Conditions may be viewed here.
We are unable to send out reminders for balance payments, so please ensure we receive your payment by the due date to avoid automatic cancellation.
The Booking Agreement contains the full Terms and Conditions of the Booking.
Where Chichester Holidays acts as booking agent for third party owners of holiday rental property, the owner of that rental property is wholly responsible for all legal and statutory regulations and obligations relating to their property.
Bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to arrival
Full payment at the time of booking, or for internet bookings only - deposit at the time of reservation - the balance being payable when the booking is confirmed by us which is non-refundable, non-transferable A completed signed Holiday Booking Agreement is also required to confirm the reservation.
You may cancel your booking at any time. Cancellations must be communicated to us in writing and take effect from the date received and acknowledged by us. In the event of cancellation by you – then the following charges become applicable. Bookings are non-transferable.
More than 6 weeks prior to arrival date – 50% of full cost
Between 4-6 weeks prior to arrival date – 75% of full cost
Between 2-4 weeks prior to arrival date – 90% of full cost
Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival date - 100% of full cost
Curtailment - no refund
In the unlikely event it becomes necessary for US to cancel your Booking due to circumstances beyond our control - we will refund ALL monies paid by you. No other compensation will be payable.
We accept UK Debit Cards and BACS transfer from a UK Bank (foc), Visa & Mastercard Credit Cards (2% charge) Paypal (4% charge).
A £200 (£250 if linen is hired from us, or a dog is allowed at the Bay Apartment) security deposit is also required on arrival, using a credit/debit card and pledge. Charges will be levied for excessive cleaning, soiling, damage or breakages, within 7 days of the end of your Holiday Let.
We strongly advise that all our Guests have up to date Travel/Cancellation Insurance.

Parking - although there is off road parking for ONE VEHICLE - it is at owners own risk, and we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage howsoever caused, throughout your stay,nor if a parking space is unavailable at the Bay Apartment.
To ensure safety, comfort and enjoyment for all, we do adopt a strict No-Smoking, No-Drugs, No excess Alcohol, No excess Noise Policy - or any other behaviour likely to cause offense or nuisance to others. We welcome well behaved children only. We reserve the right to deny access or curtail any Guests stay if these conditions are not adhered to. In these circumstances - no refund will be given and additional charges may be incurred.

Rental of any property through Chichester Holidays is for the purpose of a Holiday Let, for the contracted dates and for those guests named on the Holiday Agreement only. It is required that you hand back the property at the end of your holiday rental period, in accordance with the terms of your Holiday Letting Agreement, and in the same condition rented to you. All keys loaned to you during your rental period must be returned on the day of departure. Lost/mislaid/non-returned keys will be charged @ £100, as locks will be required to be changed, to ensure continued security.
We reserve the right to decline any booking without giving reason.
